I have been looking at a lot of different pics of bow, and noticed that some have their name or a favorite bible verse on the bow. Just got me to wondering what do you have inscribed on your bows?
Craig
Dad picked out mine 3 days before he passed. It has his name under mine, along with the saying "forever by my side in all the journeys I take", under that his birthdate, and the day he passed.

One has the line that is in my signature, below. Goes to our Hungarian heritage. Anyone know what it means?
Another has my initials - as this bow was "a first of its kind", I wanted to distinguish it.

BobW ur Hungarian?! Wow what a small world! Same here!
Back to the topic, Usually I would inscribe a small prayer. maybe an old native american prayer that they would say over a buffalo or deer.
I went with a deer prints on it, Rob said it was the first one he has done that way, I thought it was pretty cool. (http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p213/BowNow/IMG_1850.jpg)

What a way to honor you father!!!!
I have 'Texas Memories' on my Horne.
First hunt I ever went on was the Sweat, last year. I got a lifetime's worth of memories in a week & met some of my dearest & closest (in heart if not in person) friends there.
I ordered the bow from Mark the day I got home & it's the one bow I will never, ever sell.
Save us from the arrows of the Hungarians, O Lord.
Updated by the RAF to "Beware of the Hun in the Sun."
Most of mine have nothing at all.I quit even putting the weight on them since it really does not matter much if I can pull it back. :D
The only one of mine that has anything other than factory specs. has someone else's name. :(
On the upper limb I have written "Pick a spot". I put that there after I missed a big ten pointer.Just a reminder to myself.

My buddy Jimmy the Geek has a special term for something that works out perfectly, and don't nobody know perzackly why.
I am thinking of putting "PFM" on my used Centaur, my Magic Bow. First word is 'pure,' last one is 'magic.'

got different things on different bows. all my bows have my signature on the inside of the lower limb.
my PSE longbow has "hiki no" on the upper limb which is Hawaiian for "can do"
and on my montana I have the Hawaii's motto "Ua Mau ke Ea o ka ʻĀina i ka Pono" which is Hawaiian for " the goodness of the land is perpetuated in righteousness"
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v319/SteveMcD/HH_01.jpg) "Autumn's Whisper" on my HH Halfbreed
The backs of my bottom limb are the "headstones" for the awesome animals that gave up their lives to that bow. Kinda turns them into a "story stick".
Killie....your my kind of woman.....the "f" must stand for fantastic female... :biglaugh:
