What kind of bamboo are you looking for?  parallels, tapers or backing strips?  I have some (8' or so) of some great stuff I bought at an import store.  Check around with those.  Or if you need the contact info and want to come to Boise, drop me a PM
Also, I know Pine Hollow longbows has some backing strips.  I think Dryad will sell you some too.

I have bought mine from the same place Dean Torges buys his, or at least use to but it, i haven't checked in a year.  Bamboo and Rattan Works.  Also bought rattan from them to make my boys bows.  great company to deal with.  I purchased slats of bamboo and one stick of rattan, which will make 4 children's bows, and it was shipped the same day.  I received it in the UK via APO in three days.  now that was a record.   Good Luck, Jack
