give me your thoughts on this bow
Great Bow. I had one for 21 years.
what length and what is your draw length
Had a couple 60 inchers.I like em alot.Sleek, steamlined, light in the hand and well made.I drew those 30 inches.Would like to try a 62 incher at my draw but never found one 2nd hand. The 60 incher worked well for me though.
I always have one in my stable, even though I'm a longbow shooter almost exclusively. I like the traditional/straight handle and bamboo limbs. Current bow is 60 inches, straight grip, bamboo lams, 55#@28. One of the smoothest, fastest bows for its weight I've shot, and I've shot a lot of them.
thinking ok getting a 58" for blinds and stands I most likely will draw this bow to 28.5 inches Thats what I shoot my savannah at does 58 sound like it will shoot well drawing that far
I shoot longbows now, but it was the greatest recurve I have ever shot/owned.
cool sounds like everyone is a fan
I've got one of the first ones with the "jackknife option", awesome, lightweight little bow and you can't beat the folding takedown system for convenience.
Tyee: My own preference is for a longer bow. A 58-inch bow will handle a 28.5 inch draw, but 60 inches would be smoother. I have no trouble with the 60 incher out of my Double Bull blind.
I have a 62" that I draw a full 32". Danged fast yet stable and shoots a heavy arrow well too.
Had a Jackknife Ghost that was wonderful, but just a bit stiff at my draw, so sold it. Bought an osage Super Ghost used/mint, with moose antler tips that's about 10# lighter than I'm currently shooting (a GN Bushbow,btw)....I figure I'll likely drop draw weight down the road, and that little Super Ghost really performs.
58" GN Ghost is more than enough for 28.5" draw. :readit:
62" GN Ghost, 62# 28" getting to be more than I can handle anymore. Great bow, crumby body!
I bought a GN Ghost second or third hand that was 10 years old. It was in as new condition and shot fantastically. I couldn't believe a bow of such seemingly simple design and so light in weight shot so smoothly and with no handshock at all. I had an economic reversal of fortune and had to sell it and I regret it everyday.
Skinny Little Runt I'll gladly take over that bow for you as even though I am 47 62# is still light to me.
Mine was the simplest and one of the best shooting bows I have ever owned. Mine was all osage with the locator grip. Beautiful!!! Of all the bows I have traded that one is on my regret list.lol!! It was a great hunting bow. Loved that grip!

Mine is very quiet smooth fast and shoots a wide range of spined arrows!
It's all around the best recurve bow I have shot!
I've always wanted to try a Ghost with the straight grip. I have a great Fireball for trade if anyone is interested.
It is the only laminated bow I still have - 56 incher. It is a great bow to look at and shoot.
