Anybody lube-up their arrows before a hunt? Not sure what you would use that is scent free. Any suggestions.
Thanks

Not for hunting, but this spring we did a 2-D shoot in Ohio where everyone used PAM to lube there arrows. It worked really well too.
We do it so they come out to the trees easier! It was nice shooting with ya brent. I hope we cross paths again some time! :wavey:
Brent, I normally keep a can of PAM in each of my treestands, to lube up any squeaky fold-up seats, etc...can't remember where I read that tip, but it works.....gotta smell better than 3-in-1....
I have always used car wax on my hunting arrows.
and here's something i picked up a few years ago that's pretty cool.... (http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z287/rastaman1953/DSC00372.jpg)

the slick stik tube fits inside the leather..the top of the tube has a hole in it that you slide your arrow into to lube it up.

For you guys that already use the Pam for stuff, It also can be used to keep fly's and bee's off of you downed meat!! No kidding, I keep a can of it in my Elk hunting pack and once gutted and skinned spray on the pam and it WILL keep the fly's off. My cuz who is a taxidermist give me that tip!
Armor-all, if I have some , otherwise its waste of money for me... :)
Good tips guys. Thanks.
