Just opened the package half an hour ago. It's a 68", 57#, Howard Hill Big Five. Clear glass; elk antler tips; elk wrap and clear satin-finished glass. Riser is ebony. Dang it's purty. I'll give her a run this afternoon and follow-up.

really love seeing the HH bows :)

Nice Hill ya got there....
Almost identical to the Hill I got last week. The only difference is mine has the straight grip and black glass instead of clear. I love mine, put a D97 string on it and it shoots fantastic. Enjoy!
Beautiful bow George! Thanks for sharing.
Yep. I like the way the bamboo sets off the Ebony riser. I have one almost like it except for black glass and limb tip overlays. One of my best shooting bows. Have fun.
Very Nice, Mr. Stout. Classy looking piece of work. GY
"Classic Beauty" what more has to be said?
Very good choice! Love the bamboo with ebony.
I really like the tips overlays :goldtooth:
That's a beauty George! Congrats!
Nice bow and really nice combination of material!
Here's a few photos from my Hill walk today.

Perfect example of what a longbow should look like.Very nice,George!
GEORGE,
What style grip does the bow have?? Looks like what I am interested in.

It's a dished grip. They fit the hand pretty well and are really comfortable to carry around the woods.
G
Thanks for the quick reply on the grip.

Good lookin Hill. How did it shoot. I'll bet it was sweet. Shot a Hill years ago. Watched the owner shooting it at the range, went over and talked with him about the bow. He offered to let me shoot it. First arrow loosed just to the left of the bull, second arrow dead on. Couldn't believe how light it was, like holding a feather.
I want one and would like to find one just like the one you have there George. I have never shot a Hill but feel myself getting sucked into the mystique. Might just order me a new one if I cant find a reasonable used one.
Heydeerman, You can`t go wrong with a new one. I ordered one a few months ago and had it in around three weeks.I shot a borrowed one a while and it became a mass pig killer. Hope to bloody my new one soon.
Nice bow mister George and fine woods to shoot in.I walk the woods here at home and shoot almost daily.Heap better than targets in the yard.RC
That's a dandy, George! Congrats! Something alluring and inspiring about that 'D'
Great lookin Hill! I had one with the same specs, minus the elk tip overlays and it had a cocobolo riser. I could kick myself for selling it.
She's a beauty, George!
Beautiful bow...I think I'm jealous!!
These are the times when I really, really wish I could shoot a longbow better. Yes, I'll admit I'm jealous. At some point I'll have a weak moment and buy one. Then I'll go through the crying and moaning 'cause I shoot pretty bows badly.
