From watching his videos, I would guess he might be about 5'5"-5'6".  His nickname, according to one of the search references, is "Too Short."

Paul Brunner is a large part of why I got interested in traditional archery. I rented his video Instinctive shooting on vhs from the local library when I was probably 14 or so and I couldn't believe how someone could be so accurate with a stick and string. I can't tell you how many times I watched that video and ended up copying it onto a DVD. I picked up a long bow that same fall and never looked back.

To answer your question I don't know how tall he is but the bow he used in that video was about as tall as he was.

I remember seeing Paul Brunner when the North American Longbow Safari was held at his ranch in Orvando, MT in the mid 1980's. Paul was at the refreshment standard, and it was busy.

I found this link on Tradgang.  Either McDave is correct or the Bull Elk is a record of sorts.

Can't help with your questions but I used to love getting the Screaming Eagle catalog from him. Would have been nice to have hung on to a couple.
