Title: My arrows for the 2026-2027 season
Post by: dhaverstick on July 18, 2026, 08:00:21 PM
Team Haverstick just finished my arrows for the 2026-2027 season! I cut these Douglas Fir shafts to length, put the point and nock tapers on them, then flame-crested them. After that, I lightly dyed them then turned them over to my wife, Leah, to do her artwork magic. She did not disappoint! They all got several coats of poly before I put the nocks, feathers, and points on them. I went back to using the old 160 grain Ace Standard broadhead this year. That's the broadhead I first started bowhunting with and I decided to return to my roots. The average arrow weight of this set is 663 grains. Go Team Haverstick!
