If you find someone please comment here. It's something that I've been thinking about also.
Regarding grinding glass.... Are you talking about using clear glass over existing clear glass?
The reason i ask is that grinding glass requires using 80 grit paper in your drum sander and clear glass doesn't do well as you sand through the different layers. I did some years ago where i used .020 clear glass over ultra thin veneers, and then unicarbon to pick up some performance. While it did in fact bump the speed considerably on that limb design, the thin glass didn't hold up well over time. It also had streaks showing over bubinga veneers. I ended up having to repair the glass and painted the limbs in a camo pattern.
I also did experiments with adding glass power lams to the belly side of the limbs to bump up draw weight, and it worked for awhile.... but then the glass started lifting. The compression sheared the epoxy bond.
You might be better off just building another bow, and save that one for the kids or your wife or girlfriend. kirk
Kenny ground some glass thinner for me once for a couple kid bows i made. Maybe the guy at bending limb that took over Kenny's business might do it.

I guess I am going to put an external wood lamination.
As you know in the past I did this on the static curve and it held good. The limb will be bending where the curves did not but why not give it a shot.
Now the question is how much.
Bending branches has .070 lams and thicker.
I can shift the lams down close to .060.
I dont know tho, probably just do the 70 and sand down as needed.

Im thinking if glass will delam on the working area wood would even quicker, but maybe not, Ive never tried it.
