Title: Bow Tip Repair?
Post by: bharring on June 17, 2026, 05:16:58 PM
Hello
I have a Shakespeare Wambaw with damage to the lower limb tip.  There is a small sliver missing from the fiberglass layer and a crack in the fiberglass layer which goes into the wood layer below.  The wood to wood lamination appears to be ok, no obvious crack.  What would be a way to repair this damage?
Thank you

Wick some thin CA glue in the Crack with no accelerator. Try to get it level. Then sand the glass kinda routing the corner on each side.
