I'll start:
So... just for kicks... I made myself a moose.
Started out with some very thick foam sheets that I got from my buddy's roofing company.
I googled and found a picture online that I thought I could work with. Copied and pasted it into Microsoft Publisher. I created a page size about 7 feet wide, then enlarged the photo to fit. I printed it, selecting "Print to Tiles". In this case, it printed on 72 sheets of paper, and had to fit them together like a puzzle. (Knowing this, I added a page number to the bottom of each page, to make it easy to assemble.) My daughter and I put it together and taped the pages. I put it over the foam, stapled it down, and cut it out so that my foam cutout was more moose-shaped than I could do freehand. I saved a regular 8.5 x 11" copy of the picture in case I wanted to use it as a guide for painting it later. In the end, it turned out quite a bit different than my original cutout.... but oh well. One more note... when printing in tiles just to create a template for cutting out, I make a bunch of white shapes in the print document to cut down on wasted printer ink.
I cut out the foam with an electric hot-foam knife that I have. Then I took sheets of ethafoam that I have been collecting, and built out the kill zone on each side. Then I wrapped it with pallet wrap (Saran Wrap type-stuff) to hold it all together. Then took a bunch of sheets and random old fabric, cut it in strips, dipped it in Titebond ultimate glue (slightly diluted with water) and made a paper-mâché type covering (fabric mâché) over the whole thing. The moose antlers were donated from someone's old kill, that he had laying out in his yard.
Built a stand, painted it, and now I'm the envy of the town. Ha ha!
Nice work! That's guaranteed to turn some heads. Looks like it will stop some arras as well. Have fun.

Freaking awesome !!!! :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
That's a great target I like the moose at the 3d shoots the best . The prairie States Bowmen have a shoot every year and most of the targets are home made . One year someone brought a clown I shot it in the head and the head turned out to be a disguised bowling ball !!!
