I cut a lot wood for making tillering gizmos from standing dead cedar trees on my neighbors land. I was slicing up just such a log for 1X1 pieces of red cedar when I hit a load of two closely spaced OO buckshot from a hunter many years ago. I suspect the tree had been standing dead of about 40 years, the buckshot was imbedded deeply in the center of the trunk, there were no scars in the wood from the buckshot, it had been there a very long time.
This is a one of a kind gizmo, there will never be another one.
I ship these on my dime with a complete set on how to instructions for their use for adjusting the tiller on a selfbow for a perfect limb bend.
