I've got P2P riser with Nika Limbs dialed in I think. Great riser with these limbs. For those that like some heft in your riser, This one's got it.
2nd bow is special to me. Its a Sarrel's Blue Ridge longbow. Got to meet Bob years ago at a Solana hunt. Great guy. I had one of his bows that I got 2nd and. Shot it a few years and the riser broke. I reached out to him recently to get a new one and I found out he had a stroke and was slowing down and really wasn't building bows. But he thought he could go ahead and build one for me. Instead, he called and said he wanted me to have his personal bow that he couldn't use anymore. Beautiful cocobolo bow. Shoots better than I can and easy to tune off the shelf. If you run across a used one, grab it. They're nice bows.
Beautiful bow. I love Bob's bows. I have another of his that was one of his personals at one time (my one piece) and a custom 2-piece take down wearing the antler from the most mature whitetail I've ever shot that I think has cocobolo likely from the same board as this bow from you. All that to say, enjoy your treasure and if you ever foolishly choose to get rid of that Blue Ridge, please let me know.
I was genuinely shocked when he offered up this bow. But I'm honored and it shoots very nicely.
