We are sad to announce the passing of Joyce Knefley, one of the ETAR founders. But many of you know Joyce was more than that; she was a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, confidant, and a fierce lover of the Lord.
Throughout her battle with cancer, Joyce took every moment to be joyful and to give her love and support to others. She loved her ETAR family and made many cherished friends throughout the years from this event. Joyce helped build this community that has meant so much to so many people.
We ask that you keep the family in your prayers, and please feel free to share any photos or memories of Joyce.
Friends may call at Coudersport Alliance Church on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, with a Service for Celebration of Life following at 4:00 PM. A dinner open to all will be held at 5:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Stronghold Ministry at www.mystronghold.org. This organization provides free resources and hard-to-find spiritual support for cancer patients.
