My wife slipped and fell at a 3d shoot over the weekend, she damaged her string and lower limb tip. The limb tip has a hairline crack starting near the belly upward towards the back. Is this still safe to shoot? Should I try getting epoxy in there or just get her a new bow? It is 25 pound draw weight
Super thin CA glue, fill it slowly over a few sessions until its looking solid than lightly sand and after rub that same glue on as a finish very thin with the tip of a nitrile glove

I too echo the thin viscosity super glue. This is the one i use a lot. The only thing i would add to the repair process is to get the first shot of glue soaked in, then lightly clamp it back together with a spring clamp, or small C clamp. Then fill the crack until its full. Warning! that stuff can be very messy if you are not careful, it runs like water. So keep the bow horizontal or even tilted down towards the tip a bit. If it runs down your limb it will need to be sanded off, and refinished. After you fill it carefully sand the tip with 150-220 grit sand paper and just use a clear toe nail polish to seal it with an artist brush.

Just don't let your wife catch you rooting around in her war paint gear. And be damn sure not to leave it in your shop. You'll get busted for sure.
What I do myself is spray a little clear polyurethane in a cup and use an artist brush. But for guys that dont build bows the toenail polish works fine. Comes with a brush too. :biglaugh:
