Title: Damaged limb tip
Post by: SWSW on May 10, 2026, 11:36:37 AM
Hello everyone

Yesterday we were at a 3d shoot in the rain and my wife slipped and fell with her longbow and damaged the string. When we got home I noticed damage to the lower limb tip, hairline crack on the belly side going upward and toward the back of the bow. It is only visible on one side so the crack doesn't go the hole way through the tip. Is it still safe to shoot? Should I try filling it with epoxy? It is only 25 pound draw weight

Might be better posting in The Bowyers' Bench thread on this site. They're a pretty helpful group for problems like this.
