Proto a short recurve. 50 in. For 28 or less draw.It has a bit of a different grip kinda like a Howatt.seems pretty quick with my 26 in. draw.

Any challenges or special considerations you made on this design to keep it behaving at such a short length?

Not sure what you mean by misbehaving. It's manners after the shot are good. As far as we are told that short bows are less forgiving could be we are overthinking. Most times for me the forgivness is something I am doing wrong. Prolly if a short bow challenges you so does a longer one only not as bad. Agreed short bows aren't for everyone. Me drawing only 26 in. am getting more performance.

This may be the sweetest shooter I have built. As far as short bows not being forgiving not seeing that in this one
