What blind are you using , and do you shoot through the netting of blind.
I'm needing to upgrade my blind .
Tidewe, standard size. The bigger one is HUGE, and the lower edge of the window is too high to shoot over at close range. You do not shoot thru the fabric. It has sliding windows that overlap-- top/bottom. I REALLY like the see-through walls on 3 sides! I feel confined in a blind, so being able to see makes a huge difference. Highly recommend!
Thank you, I will check them out.
Great Video, Great shot, Great all around. Here's hoping I start Wednesday.

Thanks for taking the time to do the video. I really enjoyed it. Thought about turkey hunting this spring but got busy with other things.
Congratulations on a great bird! I have taken one gobbler, but that with a shotgun. Hats off to yah!

Congratulations on a great shot, video, bird and all. Just curious what do you think caused the birds to hang up. Was your blind in cover, or in the open? How far out was the decoy?
Outstanding! :clapper:

In that horse paddock, there's nothing out there taller than my shoe! Ha! Nothing to hide in. The blind was tucked up to the fence and trees, but otherwise in the open.
I pulled the hens across the field over 180 yds, but that final 50... they seemed just to be observing my decoys. They had their boys nearby, so they were content. That's why I switched to something more aggressive and got the boss hen thinking another lady was trying to pull rank.
I set the decoys at 5-6 yards from the blind. I want them CLOSE! If I'm in my ghillie, I might have them more like 10 yds, but not much passed that. That's a small vital area that never seems to hold still for very long.
You can see the white of my feathers at his side:
