I have a 66" 58lb @ 28" ACS and can't put the thing down. It is amazing. I got a chance to speak with Larry and it sounds like he is near completion on the new short limbs. Has any of you in the family had a chance to shoot these new shorter limbs? I was looking at a second set; 58" 58lbs @ 28". Wouldn't a shorter limb draw a bit harder than longer? Also, would stacking rear its head sooner/quicker in a shorter limb compared to my 66" limb? Thanks all

I have a 64" 50lbs.@30 inches Acs Cx. I know what you mean about not being able to put it down. I've been walking around in my yard shooting dandelion heads. I was wondering what arrow and draw length you use. I just started shooting my recurve arrows with it and they shoot fine. They are 31 inches long, lodgepole with four fletch. 80-85 lb. spine. I know that is heavy but they shoot good. Must be the center-shot. Gary

Yes, the draw force curve might be a little different with shorter limbs. And yes, they're likely to build up weight a little more quickly toward the end of the draw, compared to longer limbs. Whether you find any of it bothersome will be a factor of how large the difference is and how sensitive you are to it. An 8-inch difference is a pretty big jump, though. I wish I had your dilemma? Sagebrush My draw is 28" and arrow length is right at 31". They work really well. This bow rocks. I have even put shorter arrows thru this without any problems. I settled with longer arrow because the line it travels is amazing. I just spoke with Larry H today, what a cool cat, very helpful. So, my limbs are due in within 5-6 weeks. I cant wait.
I think that is a common design flaw of the ACS-CX. I can't seem to put mine down either. :D
I have more than one and they are my "go to" bows without a doubt.... And Larry is super to work with, great guy.
I have a new set of the shorter limbs and the longer riser on order too. Looking forward to posting some pics and shooting them!
