... of traditional archers. After tagging out again on spring gobblers with my 20ga. flintlock I decided it was time to raise the bar. I seriously considered buying a longbow after last season, but never got serious about it. For some reason, I really got bitten by the bug this year! I've been lurking around doing some research and learning, and just got off the phone from ordering a used (like new) Internature Viper, 50# longbow. From what I read, the Internature is a real good choice for a low priced/entry level bow. I've got some Gold Tip Traditional Hunter arrows on the way too. The last time I shot a bow was about 15 years ago, and that was a compound. I have never shot a longbow (or recurve, for that matter) and I'm excited to give it a go. Hopefully, I don't shoot myself in the foot. LOL!
You guys have a great site here and I hope to join in on some of the discussions and add a hunting picture or two. If I can get proficient this summer, I just might try to stick a deer this fall.
