Hello, As a member with one year's tenure and a Fred Bear fan I have got into discussions with locals in my are as the production dates for the Nimrod. I would like to know the production dates and if there were any color variations.

I know this topic has been discussed in the past, but I am having trouble coming up with answers to my question. I have a new Nimrod which has burgundy straps and sheaths with the body being all-natural brown. Thanks much.
I don't think there are a whole lot of Bear fans on here lately. Hope you get some info to your question about the Nimrod quiver...
My Bear catalogs only show them offered from 1957-1959. The St. Charles was an early model of the catquiver. The nimrod was sold with and without the hood. Going price lately is no less than $300 with the hood.

Most of the manufacturers that published yearly catalogs are there by Year. Prices, etc are the original price that year. Check the forum "Trad History/Collecting" here for more information
I'm another fan of the Bear made items & on a similar quest to find out more about the Nimrod quivers specifically & the other leather accessories in general.
As of yesterdays mail I own a complete Nimrod & another which is going to need some work doing to replace missing parts, etc. = this will be the one which gets used at the local field archery set up. Unless I make one up from new based on the Nimrod. Anything can happen!
As this is only my 2nd post on this forum, it may be worth checking my 1st, as I ended up resurrecting a thread from about 2012 which covers some details about the Nimrod model.
That 1st post is definite proof that anything can happen!!
Keen to find out the design theory for the Nimrod, not as much the access panel, but the added scabbard & the long pocket - as well as the internal bristles, etc.
They seem like a very well designed quiver, but maybe too well made for most factory set-ups to keep them in production?
