Title: Arrow tuning new PSAX 49@28 62AMO take a look…..
Post by: highpoint on February 13, 2026, 07:26:45 PM
Have not shot at all, I mean zero, like these are my very first shots in 10 years, likely more......using the 3Rivers calculator I came up with 67.7 to 66.6 dynamic spine of bow to arrow yielding a nice arrow setup for a dozen Carbon Express Heritage 250 I had squirreled away forever. I am using 200gr up front and 24gr rear DIY lumenock and arrow is about 30-1/8" OAL. I think we are on right out of the gate perhaps a smidge nock high.....#3 was my initial shot, you see the nock go left and led bobber unit go right, and arrow dead straight. I guess Fletch tite doesn't quite hold them in them as I recalled....and I had way more hair when I started this sport!

Maybe a bit nock high?

My Wife would not be filming me shooting in that situation, she would be too busy pointing out how close I was to the central air unit! lol... I don't get as wrapped around the axle as I used to with arrow tuning. I get them nock tuned as straight as I can and fletch them up. But the 3Rivers calculator is where I start and its never let me down.

I think drop my nock a bit, it's about 1/16-1/32 above 0 on my bow square. Made a second dozen GT Traditional 400s today. Shot some more today. I only have 11 yards downstairs but I think we are good, fletching these two dozens once my farther chopper gets here to cut my turkey feathers I've kept all these years.....
