My grandson's are getting it done!
Real nice, Roger. Carrying on the tradition; great looking lads.
Fun stuff Roger!
Love it :archer:
I've got a 5 year old grandson that i'd love to get started training, but he was raised different than my daughter with a different type of discipline. Both my daughter and husband have psychology majors, and my daughter a doctorate. So their idea of discipline doesn't align with what grandpa thinks. I'll leave it at that...
I started my daughter at age 3 and she had a bow in her hand every year after that until about age 15-16 and started hunting with me at age 9-10. But she did what she was told, when told, without question. That kind discipline started very young for her.
With my grandson, i'm going to wait a bit longer and he responds better to instruction without hesitation. The kid is sharp as a tac, but questions everything he is told. i'm sure he'll love archery, but i'm not comfortable with training him yet until he learns to do exactly what he's told, when he's told, without question. These bows are weapons, not toys.
I'm afraid id traumatize the poor kid at this age, so i'm going to wait until he gets older and responds better to instructions. i love the kid, but he's a handful.

Darn tootin. I'm aging and balding
Good looking kiddo! It's nice to see the tradition being handed down
Great picture and fun stuff Roger!! Who did you hire to teach them shooting skills??
 Love it. My youngest started the same way. I think he had a bow in his hand before he could walk. Got his degree (B.S. from Texas A&M Kingsville), and makes his living on one of the largest, most historic ranches in Texas. Living his (and a lot of other people) dream. Have to love the home-drawn bear target. Great stuff! Bring them up right.
