I once had a buddy named Terry,
We had a hunt booked with a fella named Jerry,
The four archers in camp thought it weird
That Terry had flat disappeared,
Like corn on the South Texas prairie.
I believe he's freezing his buns off down in Texas right now. The timing of that arctic storm going clear down into Texas wasn't good for their Laredo pig hunt.
We had the same thing happen to us on last years hunt. lol
Terry has not made it down to Laredo, so far, as he is addressing immediate hi priority callings.
Am hoping Terry will be able to update the LTR 2026 forum today.
I'm in for the badger crockpot stew.

I will be addressing this and a couple of hours after I get some breakfast. It's 4:30 here in georgia, and i'm wide awake. I didn't get any sleep again last night at all.

No you didn't! I spent the night at the LaQuinta Inn the night before arrival day.
I want apologize for not showing up. We've had our house per sale by word-of-mouth around town for a couple of years, and someone finally wanted to look at it. And was considering buying it, but they backed out. I had to be there for that.
There's this very bad flu. Top bug going around here in my area. And I started to feel weird Saturday night, but Sunday it was full on. I haven't felt that bad in no idea how long. I felt horrible. I lost so much water that I've never been so dehydrated in my life. And I couldn't keep any food down for 4 days. I could keep water down on day 3.
It was so bad I could hardly walk. It was all I could do to get to the bathroom five yards away and I had to hold on to the walls. I have no idea how many trips I made to that bathroom you in those 4 days.
I also couldn't sleep at night due to losing water every hour. My wife told my youngest daughter. how sick I was and that sweet girl had me groceries delivered to my house knowing that I was going to get my appetite back and that I didn't feel like going to the grocery store. I have had maybe 6 hours of sleep in 5 days. Once I got dehydrated, all my old injuries started aching.
This is a week long bug, and I may be better at the end of tomorrow. I stopped losing water two days ago, but I still feel terrible from the events. I wanna be out there so bad I can't stand it. However, by some crazy coincidence, we have another house showing on Thursday. So I won't be able to make it this next week.It all.
Again, I'm sorry. I wish I was out there. You better believe it. I look forward to these three weeks every year as its good for the soul. At least it sure is for me.
I hope every one is having a great time and having great success. I'm so sorry I'm missing out.

I can't find anywhere on this thread where someone's talking about a snowstorm.

No, all cancelations were weeks before the storm.
