Had this ash board that I weasled the kiln guy out of (money talks). Offered lams out of it to a couple guys, but no takers so I had to cut into it,couldn't take it!! Made a pair of .001 tapers just to see how it looked inside. WOW!! :goldtooth: These will be in the sponsors classifieds soon.(cheap plug if allowed!)

Beautiful wood Kenny ! Can't wait till I can get pics up of my bow ,I will start to spray it tomorrow . Thanks , Fred
Kenny I think your right when you call them wild ASH lams. Very cool looking.
Nice colour variations, I like 'em!
Very nice!
Those are real beauties!
them look really nice...They would look nice with a Osage riser.
I've got enuff of that board to make several,if nobody takes em,I'll have to put em in a bow when I get time!Got some really reddish padauk that might go good!!
Those will look terrible. I think you should send them to me right away so that they will not darken your doorstep any longer.
I think stained up those would be awesome, Kenny. I'd like to see a hidden tang knife handle done with that, on say a bowie or camp knife.
A nice tung oil/linseed oil soaking, then polished up...whew...that would be sweet.
