Title: New (to me) bow for Christmas

Got a Ben Pearson Super Jet for Christmas (my wife is the best) twisted up a new string and checked the weight, came out to 56lbs@33". Now just need to get some arrows built for it.

A Ben Pearson longbow was my first store-bought bow, back in the early 1950s.

Appears to be in good shape. Loved rabbit hunting with those at a teen!

Planning to chase some squirrels with it in the new year. It doesn't look like it's seen much use in the past but is very nice to shoot.
