Howdy all, I'm in dire need of instructions for one of the old original Greens Tree Saddle units.
I've had this thing for probably 15 years or more and never used it but I'm sure I've had it set up in the yard for practice but I just got it out the other day and for the life of me can't figure it out. I don't know if I'm missing a part or what. I've spent LOT of time on Google and YouTube and found exactly ZERO usable info. It's like the entire company has been deleted from the internet.
I'll post pics of what I have and hope for some advice.

Looks to me like you're good to go.girth hitch the tether around the tree head high and clip into your bridge on the saddle.

Not exactly, the girth hitch doesn't have a loop on the tag end so not sure what good it does. It's got a hook and a buckle that can connect to each other but the tag ends needs a loop. I can connect directly to it with the hook and buckle on the saddle itself but then it's only like a lineman loop at that point. Give it any slack (stop leaning away from the tree) and it falls down the trunk.

Turns out the reason there's no loop is because you actually tie a knot in the strap that goes around the tree. Looked like I've got everything i need after all.
