Folks, there will be an annual event honoring Byron Ferguson, June 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th, 2026. This event will be held at Tannehill Historical State Park with proceeds going to the Children's Hospital of Alabama. I am hoping to post a flyer, wish me luck.
Fantastic! I'll be there Lord willing.
This will be a backdrop at the registration area, great for photo opportunities.

Here's something I think will be a lot of fun. Zach Ferguson will be setting up Byron's ricochet shot off a slanted board.
Three arrows for $5.00, proceeds to Children's Hospital.
I think this will look great on someone's wall. :archer2:

Just a little update for the Byron Ferguson's "Become The Arrow" Classic. The event I had for 20 years, the Howard Hill Classic, was a multi-round format with the highest score shot over the course of the weekend could place you in a Winner's category. One could also pay to compete with different bows.
The Byron Ferguson's "Become The Arrow" Classic will be completely different. You can only compete with one bow, MAKE IF YOUR FAVORITE folks. Your first round only counts, so MAKE IT COUNT! After your score card is turned in, you can then go out and shoot, and shoot, and shoot all you want for fun. :archer:
Folks, this is a shoot to benefit Children's Hospital of Alabama, but that doesn't mean it's not a competition for outstanding archers.
The awards will be outstanding and to just give you a little teaser that will be given with the 1st Place Plaques for the adult archers, Randy Knight is providing something a little more special. Shown here is the type of Belt Buckle and the artwork is what will be on the Buckle. Those that have seen our Buckles in the past, no photos never do them justice.
YOU MIGHT WANT TO START PRACTICING!!! :archer2:
