Title: Time to rebuild some arrows!
Post by: Gdpolk on October 26, 2025, 08:44:48 PM
I always look forward to reviving my field worn arrows after big game hunts each fall.  It's not all that different than a gun guy reloading brass for the next adventure.  It reminds me of good times recently, all the friendships I've made through hunting over the years, and the promise of more good adventures in the future.

These are some simple membrane spliced fletchings to replace a few battered steering wheels.  I have a few nocks to replace and heads to sharpen.  Fall is my favorite time of the year.

I like your color choice.

Good luck this season and stay safe!

The research says that pink is the most neutral color for whitetails, hardest to see.

Interesting! I like the pink when looking for them. Perhaps a quiver of them would be better than all my white.
