I am happy to announce the renewal of my Tradgang sponsorship for the third year.
I appreciate all of the Tradgang members who have bought one in the past.
I am biased, but I do not understand why any bow hunter would not want to have one of these on his bow. There are simply no downsides to using it other than the few seconds it takes to attach it to your arrow and remove it at the end of the hunt and it can be and has been a hunt saver for many people.
Please check out my website www.tradtrackr.com as well as my YouTube and Facebook pages which are both TRADCK ER.
If you decide to order one, please send me a message telling me you learned about it on Tradgang. Good luck this hunting season. By the way, Tom Duckworth from Michigan called yesterday and told me how he used the Tradtracker to recover a wood duck. He shot with his long bow.
Very cool
Norm's Tradtracker is an excellent product. No affect on arrow flight. I like mine, give it a try.
? Do they shoot okay through Mesh in a ground blind ?
?Do they shoot through mesh in a ground blind? Three blade broadhead. Sorry for the double post
I've used it on 6 deer over the past two years. I've had no problems using it, and it made trailing them in low light with my "old" eyesite a piece of cake. I have gifted some to my trad buddies, and they use them regularly. I don't use mesh on my ground blind window that i shoot out of so i can't answer that question.
I have had no issues with shoot through mesh. Just don't use mechanicals.
Attached is a super unbiased review by Paul Helms. He has some extra stuff on his YouTube channel. Everyone should follow

Got this today. Made my day!
" Your string tracker worked great today! Thank you!"
Just found out that's Nan from http://fromnorthtosouthlady.com/
Congratulations Nan!
Always makes my day to get one of these
Found out that tradtrackers are good to retrieve dropped arrows, I had just attached string behind broad head hung my bow up and a strong wind blew it off and started to climb down to get it and it dawned on me string is on arrow pulled it right up.
My friend has one, really cool.
I used it this year hunting Ca bear but didn't find a willing subject to test it on. Switched to my muzzleloader, but had a heck of a time trying to keep the string tied to the patched round ball. :biglaugh:
I've been meaning to you 42 years. But i'm really gonna try to kill something in.Texas, this next year with a trad tracker. My only issue with them is I stay on the go too much because i'm always stalking and running around like a chicken with my head cut off. That style of hunting doesn't really seem to be compatible with a string hanging off your arrow and your bow with all the thorns. And the spines in south texas.
However, I'm gonna pre-cut some areas where I can duck in when the havilina are coming toward me where I can sneak up and set up for them. And then I can hook up the string tracker.
As you all know I am a huge believer. However, I will say that it is not practical when stalking. I keep one on when on the move and tie it on when ever I stop for a while. It is critical to keep both ends covered - the only complaint on these or any other string tracker is if you accidentally leave a trail of thread when you are walking around. The rubber band system I am using works best in my opinion.
By the way, I just saw where Mike Mitten just killed a beautiful Illinois buck. The Tradtracker was attached but he did not need it in this case. Congratulations Mike.!

Just ordered an original wood version
I bought mine from Norm two years ago works great.
Santa's workshop. BTW, If anyone ordered a rubber band and have not received it please let me know. All were mailed several weeks ago.

I've never used such a thing before...! Would it be useful for hunting small game in the snow? Or honestly... would it be too much of a hassle to be taking several shots in an afternoon with one? One of the reasons NOT to hunt in the snow around here is that the snow is deep and fluffy, and arrows are almost always GONE after they leave the bow!
Too much of a hassle is relative. It takes just a few seconds to wrap the thread around the arrow and the orange would show up great in the snow to retrieve your first arrow or the game. If you had to have a quick follow up shot just don't tie it on and you won't be any worse off than you were Before you used it.
A great idea in my opinion(using it in the snow)
Aside from the size, are there differences between the 3D and the original? Is one better than the other on certain bows, or are there other factors that would make one better than the other in a given situation?
