Been building recurves for a longtime and dabbled with longbow limbs years ago. I hadn't built much the last few years though. With my son big enough to hunt with a legal draw weight he got me fired back up with it. Last year at 16 years old he filled all his deer tags with a store bought bow. My goal for this season was to get him something of my own creation to hunt with. The riser will accept my recurve limbs along with the longbow design I settled on.
His bow came in a 47 pound at his draw and is 62"long. Shedua and macasser ebony is the woods. Carbon back and shedua belly veneers. Needless to say I've got one happy and excited boy. :bigsmyl: :bigsmyl:
