Title: Where to Start
Post by: Nixwerx on August 04, 2025, 12:29:03 AM
Hey guys. Super new guy here. I'm wondering if there's a one stop shop for information on how to start creating your own bows. I know Binghams used to be a big resource and had a directional DVD as well as templates. Is there anything like that now? I've been combing through the forums in here collecting as much information as I can find but it's daunting to say the least. I really want to get started but don't know where to start. Any help or guidance is appreciated!!

You can gather a ton of information just by visiting Kenny's website and he can hook you up with everything you need. The guys here are also very helpful with any questions you might have.
If you look around on TG you'll find some buildalongs that can be very helpful also.
Be careful, this can be very addicting, you might find yourself building bows that you don't even need.😂

Thank you guys. I'll have to take a look at Kenny's website for sure.

Also I'm hoping I find myself building more bows than I could "need". I'm hoping I can build one for my father since he got me into this whole mess to begin with!

I'll be sure to post a "build a long" if I end up getting the hang of all of this.
