Was lucky enough to be able to listen to them speak last week at ETAR. I could listen to them all day, telling their tales from their lifetime experience of hunting. Time well spent

Their video "Bowhunting October Whitetails" is still one of my all time favorites!
This may sound dumb, But what's it gonna air on?
Enjoyed  Thanks for sharing .
Wow... if that doesnt get your heart pumping and appreciate what they have done...
Enjoyed dinner with them at PBS San Antonio. Also, talked with them both when I bought books. Even had them dig out just one more copy for me. Awesome!!!

Next to Fred Asbell Gene & Barry have always been two of my all time favorite Traditional bow mentors.
I met Barry and Gene Wensel at a seminar they did back in the mid-1990s near Pittsburgh, Pa. Screaming Eagle of Pittsburgh was sponsoring it. When I ordered Barry Wenzel's new book (The Old Man And The Tree) he wrote in the book that he remembered me from the seminar near Pittsburgh, Pa. He even congratulated me on killing a big buck. Barry remembering me after all of them years made my day. I have photographs of the Wensel's that they autographed for me. They hang on my game room wall. I have there books and DVD's. I even have their first videos on VHS, Whitetail Traits Vol 1, Whitetail Tracks Vol 2, and Whitetail Trophies Vol 3. I also have Gene's new book Whitetail Etc.
