Title: Modified KennyM 3 piece riser
Post by: Watsonjay on July 26, 2025, 08:54:00 PM
Alright I bought a KennyM takedown template and modified the riser template to shorten it from 16" to 14". Kept limb pad angles the same. What effect will this have if I use same limbs as in his plan?  Brace height change? Poundage change?  Trying to visualize the difference in my head but not sure. Just did this to make a shorter bow. Maybe eventually make shorter limbs too. I like blinds and short bows.

Thanks guys.

2" less riser may add 4ish lbs , I've never tried it

Brace will be where it is quietest

I have a design now that I control bow length with changes in riser length. Everything else being the same maybe gain lb. per inch.
