I have a plastic water bottle cap hanging in front of my archery target for a point of concentration.
I haven't been able to find white ones for quite some time.
So i was thinking, what else could I use that's cheap?
Wonder if I could find white beads or something.
Was in a department store going to look for something and I went past a golf display. :goldtooth:
There they were, whiffle balls the size of golf balls.
And 12 for just under $4.
PERFECT. :jumper:
"AIM small, hit small "
Great idea! Thanks for sharing.
I do think, if a field point finds one of those small holes, it could be time to replace the ball. :saywhat:
Suspicion confirmed.
Finally got the picture to post.
I've got one of those whiffle golf balls stuck to a target right now. I just take a stick and put it through the holes in the ball and stick it into a hole in my target. Works great. My father-in-law is dying for my son to play golf and is always buying packs of these for him. Thankfully, my son—like me—has no interest in golf. But I hope my father-in-law keeps leaving us with these packs of balls :goldtooth:
Hi. I have one tied to a string and a block of wood hanging in front of my target. When I hit the ball it pulls the block of wood down off the top of my target. Works Great!
Our club, Sun City Sportsman club, used this idea to promote competition between members. Wheel bows shot from 30 yards, trad bows 20 yards. It took awhile but one of the ladies center punched it with her compound. Great fun for all and she went home with a gift card to local archery shop.
