I have Dave's Waldrop pac seat , which I absolutely love. I know the new owners modified the seat so when carrying it on your back the seat goes all the way through to the back allowing one to use it as a packframe.
For those of you that have one of Dave's originals, is there a way to use his design as a packframe?
Interested as well.
I tried it by flipping the straps around and did seem to work. I didn't have a load on it but tried it at home
For fun.
:campfire: :coffee:
I've seen someone do that in a YouTube video with a load and it seemed to work fine. Sorry I can't recall the video.

Thanks Jimmy. I'll try to find it. Should work I'm sure as I said I was able to do it but didn't have a load on it to try it completely
I have one of the originals and I bought the game bag later from the new owner. You can fit a ton of stuff in there, it's really quiet and carries well. Might be an option to check out.

You can reverse the shoulder straps but the way the waist belt is attached, it doesn't seem to work very well from what I saw. Is there a different way to do the waist belt ?
I didn't use the waist belt when I flipped the shoulder straps so not sure honestly. The game bag option might just be the ticket as Mike said.
