So, my Father-in-Law gave me an old Paul Bunyan after helping him clean out his basement. The bow had been camo'd a long time ago, and a good portion of it had flaked off, along with most of the logo. Below is a pic of the logo area of the bow. I was able to do some gentle scraping to expose the poundage (45#) and the letters "IH" above the logo. Can anyone give me any information about this bow with the limited information? Also, what would you typically run for a brace height on this bow? It had an old endless loop on it that gave it a high brace of about 8.5"
The leather type handle on it is pretty much shot, so I will need to replace that. After giving it a good clean-up I may try staining it to look like wood grain, I've seen some guys do that and it looked good.

While I have your attention, here's another fiberglass bow I acquired, but I'm not sure whether it is a Paul Bunyan as well? The markings that remain on the bow are almost gone, but what remains doesn't look like what I've seen on other Paul Bunyan's. I don't know if the handle with the metal rest and all the red/green tape wrapping is typical of a Paul Bunyan either. Any info on this bow would also be appreciated.
