Title: Need some help identifying a bow please
Post by: Benelli on June 15, 2025, 11:58:38 PM
Hello, I am new here and have been doing some research and decided to join. Lots of great knowledge here!!

Some recurve bows have came into my possession after a friends father passed away. Two of which I can identify, super Diablo, and a Kaibab x27, the third I can't find out what it is yet. Any help would be appreciated.

You have a mid 1960's Indian Archery Tecumseh. Sold for 130.00 in 1965. 66 inches long came in weights from 25 to 50. Has 100 laminations of exotic hardwoods. Brace height should be 7 1/2".

Great looking bow, have you made a string for it yet?

I am new to recurves and I am still learning. I have a friend that I speak with, he said to get one at 3 rivers? Not really sure what kind to get for these bows as they are all older but look pretty decent and I want to shoot them.

The Three Rivers strings are fine. I would buy endless loop strings for those.
