Hey guys, new to the forum but not to the site, just stalked topics, never engaged.
Watching everyone get into the bush chasing bears this spring has been both fun and full of anxiety, knowing we are one of the last groups to get our opportunity.
Thanks to everyone who has been posting their hunts this spring, it's helped keep me motivated to keep shooting and only cost me a few dollars in new fun things to buy for the trip :saywhat:
Hopefully I'll be back on the 16th with some fun stories to share :shaka:
Quick video of the bow I myself for the trip.
59@28" shooting 640 grain Shurewood shafts with VPA 3 blades up front.
Should do the trick if I do my part!
Good luck...such a wonderful place! Be mindful of the wildfire situation. It's far worse than what is being reported. I know Stickflingers emergency permits to operate off road expires June 6th...but I'm sure they will get an extension; likely already have,

Thank you. I had wondered about that, but there is not a lot of info out there.
Good luck to you sir!

Many thanks :)
Beautiful Bow ! Best with your hunt/adventure , and look forward to reading of it . :campfire:
Been there twice. Never saw a big bear, but other hunters brought in several. First class outfitter. Real nice and knowledgeable guides. My hunts were in late May and insects were a non-issue except for a few ticks. Your later hunt might have you wishing to have a thermocell. Good luck, and if you are like me this will not be a once in a lifetime hunt! Nice bow.

Thank you. I have my Thermocell already packed with extra pads and fuel. :shaka:
Hope you get one. Bear meat is great.
Good luck on your hunt and please give us a recap with some pics if you would when you get back.
Safe travels, safe hunt and I hope you kill a giant!

Good luck and safe travels! I'm going next year and can't wait.
