I made a hog hunt last week and as usual I was trying to capture the hunt on film. I upped the ante with an action camera on my head to give another perspective of the hunt. Still was running my main camera on my tree arm. Hogs come in and I wait for a good broadside shot. I drop the string on my Talltines StickFlinger and my bow made a loud noise, My action camera flew off my head landing on the platform of my lock on stand. The arrow flew very erratic and hit way low! I sat there in disbelief for a few minutes :biglaugh:
So I played the video back on my main camera and it looked like I might have gotten lucky and got the bottom of the heart. The arrow hit really low but right in the pocket. Waited a while then climbed down and there was blood instantly! I felt pretty confident seeing that and about 50 yards later I was standing over the sow getting ate up by mosquitoes :o
I snapped this one picture and started dragging. I was using a VPA 3 blade 200gr 1-1/8th cut head. I'm really liking them!
