Old Glory says it all. Every time I see her in her splender, she makes me proud.

Not to sound like a Scrooge but if someone has lost a family member in a conflict, past or present and they are memorializing their death, how can that be a "Happy Memorial Day"?  The day is more than a day off from work to have a BBQ.  Just picture a mother shopping at the local supermarket, she has recently lost a son or daughter in Iraq, the cashier not thinking or knowing wishes the mother "Happy Memorial Day".  Would that mother be happy on this day?
THINK!  :saywhat:
Just my 2 cents.
