I just came home from visiting a fellow TradGanger, who shall remain nameless, but is known for turning steel into art that has been sold at past St. Jude auctions for quite a pretty penny. I left his house counting my blessings and thinking about how thankful I am for many things, especially this site, which has allowed me to establish lifelong friendships with some pretty amazing people. This is all a long way of saying that I have the itch to pay it forward.
I know the St. Jude auction takes a lot of work and, even though I'm at a point in my life where my time isn't my own anymore, I'd be willing to volunteer to help with another St. Jude auction. What would it take to make it happen this year?
Even if it doesn't happen, try to pay it forward. And thanks to Terry, Rob, and the rest of the Gang for building a campfire for us stick and stringers to come together.
I'm still considering doing it, but we've been way too per-ocupied with the Platform move to consider it for June as always.
BTW, I know who the nameless is! Yes, great functional art!!!
