Title: New hang on quiver
Post by: Brian from GA on May 15, 2025, 10:25:27 AM
Hey, fellas. This is a little outside the bow making category, but I thought you guys could appreciate this.  I built my buddy a hunting setup this year. I have been playing with a quiver design for a few months and and I'm really happy with how it turned out. He finally took it out shooting and really likes the way it works. Wanted to take a second too show it off.

A few shots of the bow during finishing as well.

Does it just use a rubber strap?

No, I sketched up parts that I'm 3d printing in a resin that's very similar to hard rubber with a durometer rating like 70-80. I have rubber stripping that sits inside a groove that's in contact with the limb, and I cut some straps from rubber sheeting that mounts to the housings to hold it all to the limb.

So you ARE using rubber straps... :dunno:  :dunno:

I'm not ONLY using rubber straps is what I meant lol  Yeah between the resin, leather, foam and a little hardware, mine cost me an order of magnitude less money, not to mention the fun of designing it.
