Welcome!!!
"For over 85 years, we've stood for excellence and we still do things the traditional way. Hand sanded and hand crafted to perfection. Each bow is built one at a time, a functional work of art that tells a story and leads a legacy. If you're looking for the finest traditional bow, look no further than Damon Howatt".

That Is Great! Glad they are getting them back into production.
Damon Howatt bows were highly respected, great to see their tradition will continue.
Nice. Love my Dream Catcher.

Over the years I owned few 60' vintage DH recurves, they were great shooting bows with very nice wood handles

Welcome
This is great. I had one during my youth. I might need to order one for nostalgia. :campfire:
As always. :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:

Always liked the looks of these DH bows. Mel Johnson took the WR typical whitetail with one. Brings attention to the bows for sure. Mike
Had a 1964 Hunter that I let slip away because I had a custom Big River that pulled same poundage and didn't think I needed two bows the same. Foolishness of youth!!! Killed a few deer with it in Indiana. Wish I could stumble across that bow again.

I will never forget the day Applepie brought one in for show and tell at the gun store. I had never seen such a graceful shaping of the riser section. I now have two that I snarfed up shortly thereafter. Quick bows, beautifully made. One is a Hi-Speed, the other a Hunter. I also bought two lightweight target bows, Triumphs, and have since passed them along.
This is grand! :campfire:
Thank you Damon howatt! I hope all your hard work pays off for as long as you want.
My 2nd bow was a Howatt. I could shoot myself for selling it. I went full custom with another bowyer and it was nice, but I still liked shooting the Howatt best. :knothead:
Great bows from a company that's been around for decades. :archer:
Its been a long bumpy road for the current owner to get Damon Howatt back up and in production. I wish him well and hope he is successful making it profitable with high quality.
Has anyone taken possession of a new DH bow? Comments, reviews?
The Big River recurve (67#) I replaced (?) the Howatt Hunter(65#) with is a physically lighter bow, but I'll always miss the original Hunter.
