Looking to gauge interest in the 2025 Bow Swap. I'll open a signup thread if we have 6 or 8 willing to participate this year.
-
I would be willing.
-
Always down
-
I’ve been trying to decide while waiting for this thread to show up, working on a new design over the winter. Some new work has come up in the meantime, so I’d be chipping away at it in the spare time, slowly. Soooo……yes?
-
I'm in.
-
I'm a bit hesitant due to shop workload, but I could try to do something . May be a little plainer bow this time...
-
Up to you Kenny. Let me know either way.
-
I'd be in, thanks.
-
Made my first bow again this year in 10 years! Had a ton of fun doing it and I am in.
-
I'll put the signup thread up tomorrow morning (afternoon for you guys). I'm on night shift for a couple months so most of my posting will be later in the day.
-
I’ve been on the fence since you posted. I’ll join in if you guys would want a wood bow.

Or you could just send me one that looks like a bow this year. 45 @ 30" would be fine. :biglaugh:

But that one did look like a bow, if you squint your eyes, cock your head and forget what a bow is supposed to look like. But got you something carved out and heat bent yesterday. Just gotta see if it hold together through tillering.

That was funny! :biglaugh:
No big deal bro…. I was just razzing ya. Btw… did you find a home for that strange looking arrow shooting contraption yet?
-
Sorry can not do it this year...But will be watching some of the great work!
-
Is there a rookie category for this? Ive made a few bows now. I’ve learned a lot from kennym.
-
Please don’t let my referencing kennym reflect badly on him. What Ive learned is by “correspondence course” emails and a lot of questions. He’s the man. I call him Sensei.
