Title: History channel Hungarian bow
Post by: sidebuster on May 22, 2008, 07:32:00 PM
Watching the history channel, they are talking and demonstrating the Hungarian bow as they shoot it from horseback

They made a intermission historical note that the record for shooting an arrow was done in 1987 with a recurve.  It went 4000 feet the length of a 13 football fields.

Wow! I wonder if any flight shooters could verify this. O.L. Adcock is a flight shooter. If he sees this thread it would be nice to hear from him.

I just watched the video on the thread about water buffalo. The video site also had videos about hungarian horn bows. It was pretty cool!
