My dads been wanting to do one of theese for a while but we have been busy with other bows. Well he got the form made and built a couple. The first was a learning experience heating and bending the tips. This is some pics of the second one. It is sweet, I was amazed at how it shoots. I dont have a chronograph but I know it is faster than my R/D longbow that We built. This bow is made of Argantine Osage and a Bacote riser and power strip. Its also a Tri-lam. 50# at 28".

OOOHH I like that one! 5 more pounds and it would be perfect. Let me know if ya want to send that one to a new home, lol.
JD Jones has or atleast had a great build along on here...not sure if it's still here or not. If so check it out if you havent already.
Beautiful bow btw!
Wanted to ask if you cut a shelf on the bow. If so how deep?
The shelf is cut out 3/8 deep the same as the other boo backed bows we build.
Where do I place my order! That is a beauty.
Awesome bow! Why do they call it a "power strip"?
Another great looking bow!
Beauty!
