A friend of mine contacted me last week and said.. Jim, I'm moving my shop and you need to be here before the end of the month! I'll make it good on you but you need to take it all!
After six flights in three days with little to no sleep, I'm back and ready to go back to work (sort of ;) ). I am dreaming of receiving my new acquisitions.
Every bit of this will be for sale in large or small lots, but will take some time dividing up or butchering it. If you are interested in large quantities, let me know as it will get you the best deals... there is some incredibly sweet and very rare wood in these lots... 14 pallets is the current estimate, but I ran out of time stacking and wrapping pallets and had to leave the final four or so to my friends.

Much of the wood is yet to be cleaned up and there are at least 3 pallets of burls in the mix that aren't shown..
Asian satin burl, Asian ironwood burl, camphor burl, teak burl, sendora burl, and probably some BigJim burl because it might be hard to identify! :biglaugh:
Can't wait for the truck to get here!

What a score! PM sent.

That’s a lot of wood there. Is most of it shorty stock? Good score!

Kirkll, the black and white is a bit over 2000 feet with over half of it over 34"s.. lots of 16"+ riser blocks and 50 million knife handles! :biglaugh:

Lots of this wood he had cherry picked for his personal ebay sales. Lots and lots of burl blocks that have been gathering up for years!

I see at least one built for himself bow using teak burl! :goldtooth:
