We had a great time with Alan Fleming this weekend at the Buckhorn Traditional Shoot in Western Massachusetts. Alan had posted an introduction a few week ago so I invited him to join our group at the shoot. He hadn't really shot much traditional equipment but had a Horne Bush bow on order. It just so happened that I had a similar Horne bow for him to use. Plus the rest of the group gave him some arrows, tab, arm guard, and a little bit of coaching. Alan took to it right away and in no time was out shooting the course with all of us.
Alan is a Chaplin in the Navy stationed with the Marines. A great guy and a real gentleman. I really enjoyed having Alan join us...Doc

Congrats on choosing the path, and finding a great coach! You won't be disappointed in the brush bow either!
Very nice.
Alan,
It was a pleasure to meet you at the shoot this past weekend.I had fun shooting.Look forward to shooting again hopefully at DENTON HILL the end of July.
Wow, what a great time and I learned so much hanging around with some truly fine people. It was humbling to be so warmly and generously received.
Doc - This happened because of your kindness and generousity. From the bow, the arrows, the armguard, the tab, to the words of encouragement and instruction - thanks so much.
Tom - thanks for receiving a rookie like I was one of the gang and for sharing your arrows and the dvd (I've already watched half of it). Looking forward to next year already.
Rob and Brett - your welcome was genuine and your guidance timely, and the shooting glove about as slick as they come. Thanks guys and hopefully I can visit you on the Cape and see if we can entice a coyote or two.
Cecil - you have my utmost respect and gratitude. Your at the core of what has made this Land great. Thanks brother and Semper Fi.
God bless,
Alan
