I deleted the knapping forum by mistake.... not sure how often or by how many were using it.... but post here and if there was enough interest, I can easily throw up a new forum.

What does this button do?
I will say, there was some neat crafting shown on there as well as links to very good videos showing how to make blades and arrowheads.

OK thanks Pine. I hate that, but it will all be better when we make the serious changes.... that's why I was getting rid of 'dead wood' but I clicked on the wrong forum! I'll start a new one then....

I enjoyed having the Knappers Stump on here. I'm not a knapper but know lots of guys that are and use knapped points on some of my hunting arrows.

Like Pat, I enjoyed the Knappers Stump, if I see any activity there, I check it out.

Stuff happens, 'specially as we "age" :dunno: been there, done that a bunch, and I expect that will continue as well. :banghead: :saywhat: :help:  :dunno:
One of the absolute problems with forums that have Lots of separate boards is that most folks congregate in just a few boards, and thus may unintentionally miss out on threads and posts that could be of valuable interest. This is why we'll be removing boards and - since we don't have the ability to "merge boards" - we can at least individually "move threads" from one board to another. Also, having a single board also allows specific threads for specific subject matters within that single board.
What's been going on behind the scenes for the last few weeks is the building of a new, and hopefully functionally improved Trad Gang forum, on a new server.

Many thanks Rob!!!!!!
