Glad you got her.  Shooting an alert deer like that is definitely challenging.

Awesome video as usual Manolito!  Way to stick with it!  Did you do an autopsy just out of curiosity? Liver and 1 lung?

What head did you use?

Yep, one lung and liver...in front of the diaphragm. Barely missed the offside lung.

I'm shooting 175gr VPA 2blade with a 100 gr brass insert.

Appreciate the comments.

When I saw the shot I thought the same, she won’t go far! Excellent job finding her and getting her down  :notworthy:
Congrats

Yup, I guess it right based on the video and your struggles, I knew you were shooting a two blades.  So glad you stayed persistent in finding this doe.  Too bad she had to suffer that long.

Thanks all! Yeah, their reflexes are to be respected. She was 388 yards from the initial shot as the crow flies. Really grateful Rocky was with me.

Now...time to find something with hear gear!

Reflexes are indeed incredible.  Had an 18 month old 6 point IN buck totally swap ends by the time the arrow got there from 6 yards away.  Shooting behind the front leg and arrow hit the artery in his off-side ham.  He made it about 30 yards before going down.  Grateful it hit the artery.
